Where to place The General

Place The General in the middle of your strongest units so his buff covers as many as possible.
He does not need to see the path, according to players, so use a spot behind your line.

Good pairings

Dragon: Put Dragon next to him; a buff on a high-damage unit gives the most value.
Wizard: Wizard's 5-unit limit means you can cluster several around one General.
Banker: Banker also stays off the path, so both can share a back spot.

How to get The General

Premium Banner chase unit (1.00% on the October 17, 2026 rotation, which advertised “1% 6 star”). The Featured banner advertised “0.05% General”. The Party General skin costs 399 Robux and is in the Artist Box (799 Robux).

Units are summoned with Crayons on the summon banner in the mall lobby. Multi-summons of up to 50 are available, and players report that multi-summons do not raise your odds. Every summon can also roll a Shiny version: 1% normally, or 3% with the Shiny Hunter game pass (499 Robux), from player level 10. The VIP pass (399 Robux) gives 10% off summons. Free Crayons come from codes while they are active, and the beginner's guide lists other early sources.

Levelling, traits and evolution

Like every unit, The General levels up with XP from matches, Pencils and Stasis Pods (which train a unit over time while you are away). Players report that Stamps raise the level cap. Traits are painted on with Paint Pots and can be buffs such as damage, range, boss damage or cash, or debuffs. Stat Chips and Super Chips reroll a unit's stats, and Gear from your Pencil Case can be equipped. Open the unit in game to see the materials its evolution needs.
