What game modes are in Doodle Tower Defense?
Story Acts across 3 worlds (with a hard mode), endless waves, Boss Rush, Draft Mode, a daily challenge board and, from October 24, 2026, a Halloween mode. All modes start from the Play area in the mall lobby and support co-op with up to 12 players.

How do Acts work?
Acts are the main stages. Walk to the Play area (it looks like a cinema), choose an Act, pick Create Party and then Start. Place units from your hotbar along the path and upgrade them with the cash you earn during the match. The developer lists 3 worlds and 15+ stages, each with a hard mode; community players call the worlds Crayon Kingdom, Pencil Forest and Frost Peak. New players should start with the beginner's guide.
How does Boss Rush work?
Boss Rush is a run of bosses instead of a normal stage, and it is the free source of Glitter for the Skin banner. A community guide says it opens every hour. Stuns do not work on bosses, so bring single-target damage. Boss Rush guide · bosses.
How does Draft Mode work?
In Draft Mode you pick units during the run instead of bringing your own team, so it tests how well you adapt. Draft Mode guide.
What are challenges?
The game has a daily challenge board. The store sells a “New Challenge” that adds another challenge mode to your board and a “Challenge Retry” for when you run out of tries, which shows that each challenge has a limited number of tries. Rewards are TBD.
Weather events
In any mode, random weather can hit mid-match: meteors, rainbows and alien invasions. During an alien invasion, aliens can steal your units, so do not rely on a single carry. See enemy types.
Match speed and co-op
- 1x and 2x speed are free; 3x needs the 3x Game Speed pass (499 Robux).
- Servers hold up to 12 players, and friends can join your party.
