What Radar is good at

  • Radar Scan is an active ability: hidden enemies turn visible and flying enemies drop out of the sky.
  • That makes Radar the answer to hidden and flying zombies, which other units may otherwise struggle with.

Weaknesses and unknowns

  • Radar is a support/detection unit; the reveal does not describe it as a damage dealer, so it needs damage units around it.
  • The scan has a 26-second cooldown, so time it for the waves that bring hidden or flying zombies.
  • Rarity and exact numbers are TBD.

Where to place Radar

  • Place Radar where your damage units are grouped, so revealed and grounded zombies walk straight into their attacks.
  • You usually need only one Radar. Spend the rest of your slots on damage and crowd control.

Good pairings

These are suggestions based on the developer's and in-game ability descriptions, not on measured stats.

  • Sniper: Sniper's very long range lets it hit zombies as soon as Radar reveals or grounds them.
  • Reaper: Reaper's high damage and bleed are wasted if he cannot see the target; Radar fixes that.
  • Burner: Burner's long range and fast hits set revealed zombies on fire.

How to get Radar

Summon banner (crayons)

Units are summoned with Crayons on the summon banner in the mall lobby. Multi-summons of up to 50 are available, and players report that multi-summons do not raise your odds. Every summon can also roll a Shiny version: 1% normally, or 3% with the Shiny Hunter game pass (499 Robux), from player level 10. The VIP pass (399 Robux) gives 10% off summons. Free Crayons come from codes while they are active, and the beginner's guide lists other early sources.

Levelling, traits and evolution

Like every unit, Radar levels up with XP from matches, Pencils and Stasis Pods (which train a unit over time while you are away). Players report that Stamps raise the level cap. Traits are painted on with Paint Pots and can be buffs such as damage, range, boss damage or cash, or debuffs. Stat Chips and Super Chips reroll a unit's stats, and Gear from your Pencil Case can be equipped. Open the unit in game to see the materials its evolution needs.

Radar evolution: TBD

Notes

  • Revealed as Day 2 of the developer's unit series on August 24, 2026.
  • Useful as the answer to hidden and flying zombies.
